Meet the Directors
Katlyn Lamar
Head Director
Katlyn Lamar is excited to be continuing her journey with Kaufman Theatre Company! She began her journey with the company in 2021 as a student teacher and joined Kaufman full time during the 2021/2022 school year. Prior to joining the Kaufman Theatre Company, Katlyn worked for Walt Disney Parks Live Entertainment. Throughout her career as an educator, she has appeared at the 4A Regional Competition as a director and has made two state appearances as a coach for Prose and Poetry. Katlyn Lamar graduated from Texas A&M University at Commerce with a B.A. in Theatre Education in 2021 and from Tyler Junior College with Associate degrees in both Theatre and Musical Theatre in 2018.
Vivian Glick
Assistant Director
Vivian Glick is proud to join the Kaufman High School theatre program as a director after graduating from the program in 2017. She performed in Kaufman's first UIL one-act-play to make alternate to state, which remains the school's highest placement. As an artist, she has performed with Rockwall Summer Musicals, Rhythmic Souls Tap Company, and as the captain of SMU's Mustang Ballroom Dance Team. She currently teaches at the Dance Factory in Kaufman and holds a BA in Music and English from Southern Methodist University.
